Dyes and Petals in Aion

As you already guess you can change the color of your armor. If you ask why should I do this? The answer is – only for show. You can dye every piece of your armor and you will need one dye per item but there are some restrictions. You can not dye Accessories, Draconic, Abyss and Unique Items. Dye and petals are items that are used to change the color of the armor.

How to dye your armor?

To change the color of an item just right click the dye or petal. Your cursor will change into a little dropper and your next step is to click on the item you wish to dye. When you click on the item a small window will appear asking for confirmation. If you press “yes” button the action can not be undone. But don’t worry, if you don’t like new color you can remove it. In this case you need Dye Remover.

Where to buy dyes

Dyes can be obtained from NPC’s:
Jooma (Sanctum) for Elyos
Kinot (Pandaemonium) for Asmodians

Jooma Jooma Location Kinot Location Dye Pallet

There are four Regular dyes: Blue, Brown, Purple, Turquoise. Dyes can also be quest rewards or event rewards.

Petals

Another way to change your armor’s color is by using petals. Petals can be harvested from plants and the chance to obtain them is about 3-4%. Some petals make the armor brighter, some darker. The more petal you use the more shady the armor becomes. If you harvest a Petal from certain plants just right-click it and click on the item you would like to dye.
