Star Trek Online Closed Beta Registration

Cryptic Studios announced today the closed beta test for Star Trek Online, which will occur later this year. Players can sign up for a chance to participate in the beta.

If you purchased a six-month or lifetime subscription to Champions Online, you’re already accepted to the Star Trek Online beta and won’t need to apply. We’ll have more information about how and when you can join the beta at a later date.

Closed beta registration is an important step in bringing Star Trek Online to the public, said Craig Zinkievich, Executive Producer on Star Trek Online. We are looking toward the launch of our first-of-a-kind MMORPG with anticipation and excitement and we expect Star Trek Online to explode onto the scene, giving fans and gamers a Star Trek experience like no other.

Greatest human achievement – 40 years

I just wanted to commemorate this anniversary and remind you all that today is 40 years since Apollo 11 crew landed on the moon and human foot touched another celestial body.

You know, I grew up reading science fiction. You can actually see the authors had the guts to dream of humankind spreading throughout the universe. I can imagine this very event had something to do with these writers being able to dream such dreams. I wish my generation or my children’s generation have something like this happen during their lifetime. With hopes of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with news of man standing on Moon again or perhaps Mars, I present you the video of the original landing:

Is your WoW wife a dude? – ask Brad Pitt

Isn’t that a title you thought will never come about? Yet, that is exactly the type of questions Wired features in its latest article entitled: “The New Rules for Highly Evolved Humans, With Very Bad Advice From Brad Pitt”. Ever wondered “Can I Talk on the Phone While Taking a Whiz?”, or “Is It OK to Look at Porn at Work?” – find your answers here.

You might wonder why we are reporting about it. They do talk about WoW and Rock band so it’s ok for a gaming site to report on it. Besides, while reading the article I came across this image and I just had to do some editing on it. The wife will kill me tho – she adores Brad and can’t stand me listening to Metallica all the time. To smear her wet dream with James’ ugly mug will be a reason to chase me around the house with a hatchet. Meh, it was worth it (grins insanely).

P.S. My favorite Q&A:

I want to post a picture of my wife’s butt on twitter á la Ashton Kutcher. Do I need to ask her first, or can I snap, post, and hope she’ll be flattered?
Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.

Ah Brad, let me be so bold to say that we wouldn’t mind a pic of your wife’s butt … lucky basterd … 😛
